As we move forward, sliding into yet another block of unknown experiences, we may be feeling a little nervous about what is to come.
I have been musing about the many different pools of energies coming our way. It has felt somewhat relentless, and it is easy to go off balance and wobble out of centre. But as this happens to me, I've noticed that I get constantly reminded to embrace one of Reiki's central tenants.

As we move forward, sliding into yet another block of unknown experiences, we may be feeling a little nervous about what is to come.
I have been musing about the many different pools of energies coming our way. It has felt somewhat relentless, and it is easy to go off balance and wobble out of centre. But as this happens to me, I've noticed that I get constantly reminded to embrace one of Reiki's central concepts.
"Just for today..."
This saying prefaces each of Reiki's five elegant and straightforward principles that underpin the entire teachings of Reiki and guide us towards living a good life.
But the precepts are not only pertinent for Reiki practitioners. The tenants are simple, and anyone anywhere can apply them in their lives.
Dr Mikao Usui described them (along with the practice of Reiki) as:
" The secret art to inviting happiness, the miraculous medicine of all diseases."
.
Let's look at the beautifully simple preface to each of these precepts - without the Reiki.
Just for today,
"Just for today" is a fundamental frequency to consider embracing across our entire lives as we move forward in each moment and step into the potential of our lives.
This statement prompts us to stop 'time travelling'. It reminds us to stay in the present moment, not become stuck in the past or hurry off to the future. "Just for today" is an easy to manage concept; it puts one step in front of another, not walking backwards or rushing forward.
It would be true to say that many of us would spend most of our lives time travelling! But when we live as a Time Traveller, we eventually become overwhelmed. We come to live in our imagined reality of what might be - or the lost moments of what could have been. We begin to experience all we have 'created' or 'remembered'.
Staying anchored in the now, we naturally drop anxiety, regrets, constant worry or guilt of what once was and what is yet to manifest. No judgment, no remorse. We don't reimagine memories, re-live experiences from a lens that weaves repeating narratives into them. We don't makeup stories about how our lives are, might be, or will be.
This is not to say we shouldn't revisit the past or plan the future. "Just for today" is simply a gentle reminder to return yourself to the present and live there, allowing the present moment to flow through you, experiencing all that it contains. Moment to moment.
Eventually, we slip into a different way of being as we consistently practice living in the present. We will find space to discover ourselves, opening to allow more to come towards us and room to be. Time slows a little. We see the precious gift, the present of the present moment. The only critical moment. The moment of now. The only moment that is.
It is in the moment of now that we find Peace. Peace of mind, and Peace of heart.
So just for today, drop into as many present moments you can. Be vigilant. Be the observer of your travelling mind. Be the gatekeeper and bring yourself home today.
I will delve a little deeper into the precepts themselves in a later post, but in the meantime, I urge you to stay in the frequency as much as you can of

]]>We are our own most essential healers. We can heal much in our lives by choosing the frequency we wish to live within. It is often about perspective. Do we choose fear? Will we move from fear to love? Will we choose to put our frequency, currency, energy, time and creativity to what we want to create for the betterment of humanity? Or will we choose a frequency of fear, anger, judgment, regret?
]]>
Going forward will be a lot about the frequency we choose to embrace and how we experience that: the vibration, the energy, around the situations present in our personal and global lives.
We are our own most essential healers.
Suppose we work carefully on all our words, thoughts, actions and reactions and consciously weave in the frequency of what we want to experience. In that case, we will begin to change the landscape of our lives.
I don't mean to run light and fluffy over the difficulties we face. Instead, I feel this is about making conscious choices on handling these difficulties. Recognising what is wrong, what doesn't work, and aligning our energetic frequency to the solutions will help us move away from the problems. Putting all our energy into the issue keeps us stuck there, sinking in fear.
We can find ourselves constantly stuck in a big loop of negativity, conversation, judgments, blame, and stuck energy around what is wrong, chaotic, cruel, dark, complex. Staying with that frequency pulls us into a never-ending fearful swirl and an even darker and deeper hole.
But there is no doubt; we need to see it. Feel it. Own it. But then we also need to stop and ask ourselves, how might we reframe our experiences and reactions to facilitate the change we wish to see? How can we allow these emotions to flow through us and release us to move forward?
If we were to realign our frequency away from the constant fear, can we then recognise and work with what needs to be changed? How can we rise above the present narrative to allow space for another reality to form? Can we remain calm enough to think outside the square to find our way towards a better alternative? Is there another way we can approach a problem? Can we be more inclusive, kinder, gentler with others? Can we recognise another's point of view as different but valid for them? If something is not resonant anymore, what can we personally do or say that shifts the energy?
When something triggers you, ask how I may look at this differently? Is there another perspective to view? Is my frequency only aligned to the problem I see, or is there a way to align my energies towards a possible solution? Is there another perspective I'm missing?
Life has been showing us what needs to be changed. Once they are recognised, acknowledged, and owned, we can make the change. We are creative, inspirational beings. We can recreate a new and better reality once we understand that we created this one. And, we change that first in our own micro lives. We change what we can, encouraging others to do the same. First, our homes, families, and communities, we ripple it outwards to the big macro pond.
However, we cannot change anything by working from the same frequency of the creation we now recognise as discordant. We must align to a different frequency to bring ourselves to Peace.

I wanted to chat about some of the common questions I get asked to assist you in deciding the best way to have your Reiki treatments and to decide if Reiki is right for you. Some little questions that have big answers!
Is Reiki a religion?
No, not at all. No formal dogma is taught. Reiki can be viewed as a hands-on energy healing technique, and/or it can be considered to be a spiritual practice. But it is not a religion.
Reiki is a Japanese healing and energy technique that was introduced in the early 1900s by Dr. Mikao Usui. For more information, please visit The History of Reiki, here.
Suppose you wish to explore the spiritual precepts and foundations of Reiki. In that case, it can take you on a gentle exploration of your connection with the Divine, link to your Divine Self and your relationship with the Universe. However, this is not something you 'need' to do to have or even learn how to receive or give Reiki. Reiki works regardless of your belief system. This is likely why so many people of different faiths and cultures are comfortable practicing Reiki, having Reiki, and being open to its healing benefits.
Reiki can be used in many different ways. It can be used for physical ailments, relief of pain, illness, disease, or it can be used for mental and emotional conditions of the mind and heart. It can also be part of a spiritual and meditation practice to journey with your soul and walk your path. Reiki is used in hospitals, spiritual traditions, wellness centres and in-home and family situations, and you can delve into all aspects or certain aspects of the practice freely and openly at a level that suits you, without a religious framework.
Do you do hands-on or hands-off Reiki?
At The Peace Practice, I tend to do a combination of both. I work intuitively with hands partly directly on the body and partly in the auric fields above the body. I am happy if the client prefers no physical contact, however.
The recipient remains fully clothed at all times. The physical touch is light and is often held in place for some minutes. All Reiki practitioners are very respectful when placing their hands, and I personally work on the head, face and scalp area, moving through the body on or near the main chakra points, also covering the legs, ankles and feet.
A hands-on Reiki transmission feels warm and comforting and can be a slightly different experience when the hands are off the body. Both techniques combine to allow the energy to permeate through the muscles and organs of the body whilst putting the brain into a deeply relaxed state of being.
"How many sessions of Reiki should I have?"
There is no one size fits all answer to this one. You can, of course, undoubtedly utilise Reiki for one-off sessions for a beautiful tune-up of your energy and chakra fields and a rejuvenating relaxation. And that's a great place to start!
However, if you happen to be dealing with a complex issue of either the mind, the body, or a life situation, I would definitely recommend a series of sessions.
Reiki works so seamlessly on the different levels of mind, body and spirit, and many issues we deal with are intertwined with these layers. By allowing time to explore, dig deeper and work through issues on these energetic planes, we give ourselves the room to heal, the time to integrate the energy and shift the vibrations that may be blocking our true and unlimited potential.
Reiki can shift and clear the energy field. That also allows more deeper-seated or even buried issues stored in the energy body, 'room' to rise. So to clear, integrate, and then clear some more over a series of sessions, is a delicate and profound process.
Each person and their situation is different, but as a rule of thumb, in these cases, you might consider 3-4 or 4-6 sessions in reasonably close proximity [say 3-4 weeks apart] and then as and when you feel called to.
To work with Reiki this way is a highly personalised experience. To allow this process to unfold for clients in a way that suits them best, I have tailored my session options to allow for room to have 'Just Reiki' or for longer appointments to give you the time to dive in at whatever depth you are comfortable with. Many clients who work with me regularly may start with a more extended session and then move to shorter ones going forward.
"So if I do all that, will Reiki cure me?"
Loaded question with my answer likely also to be perceived as loaded! Love to say yes or no, but I can't. Stay with me here, and I'll explain!
Firstly Reiki literally translates as Universal Life Force. The energy that runs through everything and all in the Universe, the energy that brings life to all sentient beings, that grows an acorn into an oak, that gives us the miracle of nature...you get my drift. Whether your personal understanding or word for that is Source, Spirit, God, Supreme Being, Love, Vital Principle, Creator, it represents [in a non-religious context] the energy that connects us to life and all that is and ever has been. It is also the understanding that this energy is of us, of everything and runs through us and throughout the entire Universe, moving across timelines and dimensions.
Although you may indeed feel wobbly, out of alignment, sick, emotionally unbalanced etc., you are still perfect, whole and complete in the essence of this divine energy. You may be out of sync, connection or alignment with your divine blueprint maybe, but you are always still held in perfection.
Reiki is offered to your physical and non-physical bodies - your energy bodies can help you harmonise and balance your energy back to the centre point, which then supports you to heal, adjust, and realign. It is actually you who does the work! The practitioner holds the space for the energy and for you to receive it for your greatest and highest good.
Healing and curing are not really the same. We often think in terms of not having a disease or condition as 'being cured'. Gone. Nada. Not there. When we cure something, we either control it or eliminate it. But we don't always address the underlying causes - and there can be many, such as nutrition, emotional trauma, stress etc. But, when we heal, we move to understand and energetically let go or resolve those underlying issues that may cause our bodies and minds to experience disease and sickness.
Reiki can move into those underlying issues energetically, bringing them up for understanding or clearing them. This, in turn, can directly and positively impact the physical body. The physical and mental bodies are also greatly assisted in the process as deep relaxation, and energy alignment can bring profound shifts in the hormonal and nervous systems, which, when in chaos, can impact disease and illness. Reiki focuses foremost on healing and allowing the cure to happen.
Reiki as a complementary therapy is used to assist regular and traditional medical procedures and processes. There are many beautiful stories of how Reiki has cured and healed. Still, in the context of any conditions, disease and illness that affect your health and life, it is never recommended to discontinue traditional treatment paths. In these cases, use Reiki in conjunction with your medical professionals' knowledge and advice.
Is Reiki a safe practice for everyone?
There have been many Clinical and non-Clinical worldwide studies of the efficacy and safety of Reiki. No contraindications are detailed for Reiki, with most studies concluding that Reiki is an effective and non-invasive complementary therapy to traditional medicine. Many hospitals globally now approve Reiki as a holistic treatment for recovery and stress reduction.
You may like to look at two sample articles detailing some trials, studies and observations on Reiki from a more scientific point of view.
What Does the Research say about Reiki?
A Large Scale Effectiveness Trial of Reiki for Physical and Physiological Health
In the years I've been practicing Reiki professionally, I have found Reiki to be a safe and effective modality for all people, including pregnant women and younger children.
Is Reiki safe if I am pregnant?
Yes, absolutely! It is just lovely to enjoy a Reiki relaxation session when pregnant and a gorgeous way to energetically and even more intimately connect with the baby.
Over the 16 weeks term, I advise you not to lay on your back for the session, so I raise the head of the table, so you are partly sitting up. This is usually much more comfortable for the baby too. I can also give Reiki sitting in a chair if preferred. Babies in utero seem to respond beautifully to the energy, and mothers-to-be have given me excellent feedback on their sessions.
Can children receive Reiki?
Yes, indeed, they can have Reiki.
Under 16, I require a parent or guardian to be present during the session, and I limit the hand positions directly on the body. I usually suggest a session that includes a meditation component. Younger children can have shorter attention spans, so I tailor the session lengths to suit the individual. Kids find Reiki fun and relaxing, and usually a very positive experience.
On a side note, pets and animals love Reiki too and it can be very beneficial for them. There are many practitioners who specialise in Animal Reiki.
I can't relax on the Reiki table. My mind won't stop, my body fidgets. Will it still work? What am I doing wrong?
Nothing. Nothing wrong. Whenever we do something that we don't normally do, the mind will kick in and try and bring us out of that state into something it understands as more familiar.
Unfortunately, this is when people tend to give up on themselves, bemoaning they 'can't relax' or 'can't meditate'. They get frustrated at themselves and spend the time worrying and wishing the session was over.
I usually give clients an easy visualisation and a breath technique to help them relax and pin their thoughts to at the beginning of the session. This often does the trick, but if you still have trouble, please discuss this. There are a lot of various techniques to help the wandering mind. It does take practice, but I would urge you not to give up. Instead, try shorter Reiki sessions to take the pressure off and practice meditation each day for 5 minutes, slowly building up the minutes until you can hold comfortably for more extended periods. I have some clients who thought they'd never find their Peaceful Space and Still Point, but they did! You can too.
Know that you never do or will stop the mind. Science research talks about us having between 50,000 - 80,000 thoughts a day! Staggering!
Instead, we aim not to engage the thought and travel with it. We give the mind something else to do each time we notice ourselves thinking. Dropping back into the breath is a perfect interrupter for the thought and helps us to relax. Even if you spend the whole session concentrating on breathing, that's perfectly okay.
Becoming the observer (notice when we're thinking) and the gatekeeper (closing the thought with the breath) to our minds is the key to enjoying activities that require a quieter mind, such as Reiki or meditation.
Why do I feel different things in different sessions? Sometimes I feel a lot, sometimes not very much. Does that mean it's not working?
Our energy bodies are a beautiful technology that helps us to receive and transmit energy. They are in constant motion. Our chakras spin, expand, retract in different circumstances; our auric field is changing to reflect what we are experiencing and feeling.
When we receive Reiki, we respond according to what is happening with our energy field. Our fields 'draw' down the Reiki, and it will flow to where it is required. If an area presents as sluggish, slow or even blocked, Reiki may release or shift this. Heat, tingles, waves of energy flowing through, tummy rumbles, little static bursts, or even coldness can be experienced, and all are common occurrences. So your physical sensations will depend a lot on your physical state at the time of the session.
Likewise, subconsciously we can go deep into a meditative state, and sometimes more so than another. These states may evoke dream-like visions to the mind, subconscious messages, or you may see vivid colours. Another time your conscious mind may be more engaged, or you don't relax as profoundly, or you may even fall asleep and not be so aware of these experiences.
None of this means the session wasn't successful or the Reiki 'hasn't worked'. It is perfectly normal for each session to impart a different experience.
Reiki practitioners will always explain that the energy has its own intelligence [it forms entire Universes after all] and will work for you in exactly the way you need it to at that time.
Usually, I feel really light and easy after a session, full of energy too! Other times I feel sooo tired, and once I felt a little unwell for a couple of days. Why does this happen?
Generally, most people will feel a lot lighter after Reiki. It often feels that a load of anxiety has lifted, and your mood is more balanced. This can last for some time afterwards as the energy slowly integrates with your energy field and physical body. If a lot of clearing and rebalancing goes on, sometimes the body and mind need to rest, and you can feel tired that night, but you'll bounce lighter in the morning after doing so.
Very occasionally, you may experience what I sometimes refer to as a Reiki De-Tox. This can be likened a bit to a body or diet detox, such as refraining from [say] caffeine. When we move out what the body feels is a toxin, slow-moving residue may cause symptoms such as headaches and tiredness. However, if you keep cleansing the body, the toxins eventually work their way clear, and you begin to feel excellent - better than before. Follow up Reiki sessions will assist the moving of energy.
I stress this is not a common occurrence, but the same type of scenario can occasionally occur with Reiki. Certain block shifts, or residue may take a while to move, the body needs time to readjust, and for a bit, you get a healing hiccup which may feel like a general malaise or light cold/flu type of symptoms. Sometimes you may feel a little raw emotionally, depending on the nature of your situation. Detoxing through Reiki may occur after an intense session of clearing blocks and stagnant energy.
I always believe this is a good sign. It means discordant energy is moving and shifting. Honour the body if this occurs, rest and relax and be kind to yourself. Always contact your practitioner if you have any concerns.
I've been feeling great after a few sessions and didn't think I needed to come back. However, after a few months, I feel like I'm back where I started. Why hasn't the healing held?
We can have some beautiful results and get ourselves into a whole new groove. However, if we're not mindful of our energy and thoughts and our lifestyle habits, we will start to move towards the slippery slope again!
We need to think of our energy in the same way as we do our fitness regimes. We work hard through our Reiki sessions, getting ourselves clear, balanced and aligned in the same way we start training in the gym. We start slowly, build ourselves up, hold ourselves to a fitness level and reap the benefits. However, if we stop exercising, if we lose discipline, we lose muscle. Quite quickly. The same will happen with the Reiki techniques and practices. If we don't put new procedures into place, form new habits, change certain patterns in our life, we will lose momentum, and we'll slowly sabotage the excellent work we've done.
In regular sessions with clients, I give many practices and processes to assist them to stay in balance and alignment with their energy. These will include various meditation techniques, healing tips, observation and gatekeeping of the mind and thoughts, and various energy clearing practices to adapt for use at home. Consistency is the key.
Think of cleansing your energy body in the same way as you cleanse your physical body. Every day! We get hot, sweaty and need our showers. In the same way, we need an "energy shower" to refresh, clear and balance our field - daily. These practices are simple; they don't take long, but putting them into place is imperative to maintain balance and a healthy energy field.
And if you are having trouble maintaining this on your own, reach out for a session now and then. Catch yourself, and reset BEFORE you go right back to square one!
I am experiencing anxiety. I am not feeling my usual calm self. Can Reiki help?
I totally believe it can and does. Many of my clients are challenged by their anxiety and stress levels, and some have full-blown anxiety attacks and depression.
In more acute or long term cases, I always recommend that professional counselling / medical / or psychological help be sought. I recommend that you advise your medical professional that you are also using Reiki techniques for your mental health.
I work closely with you to give you tools and tips you can bring to your everyday life to empower you in managing your stress and anxiety levels. The deep inner relaxation and meditations we work with during your sessions will help anchor your energies, ground you and help you cope.
I do recommend a series of regular sessions to assist you more effectively.
If I have a long term condition that requires extensive and regular treatment, will Reiki help, and in what way?
I treat many people going through intensive treatment programmes that are difficult, sometimes invasive and challenging. Their underlying illness and conditions are often chronic, occasionally terminal. Working with Reiki in such circumstances can be extremely helpful, but it may not resonate with everyone being very dependent on personal circumstances.
In my experiences, I have found that Reiki can be the most beautiful support and help enormously with the levels of stress associated with long-term treatments, medications, pain, and disease. It can soothe the emotions, the fear and the angst around the unknown and the very confronting aspects of challenging diagnosis.
Reiki treatments can bring the recipient to a deep level of relaxation that can assist with stress hormone production levels within the body and encourage the body to a state of being that promotes healing. The gentle spiritual [non-denominational] aspect of Reiki helps find a different perspective on their conditions. I encourage my clients to move out of the mindset of 'fighting' the disease or condition and find a quiet, gentle space of love and peace with their internal healing work. I work into the energetic imprint of the body's cellular levels, bringing the Universal Life Force into the atoms and the molecules and realigning them with love and light. It can be a cathartic but profound process.
If you wish to try a Reiki programme in conjunction with your treatment, I would suggest a longer appointment for your first one and then a series of regular shorter sessions staggered through the duration of the treatment and, if possible, extending into recovery time.
The Solaris Centre volunteers also offer Reiki sessions through some of the major hospitals in Perth and their centres for Cancer patients and carers of patients going through Oncology treatments. I would highly recommend their Reiki services and varied holistic services if you are exploring complementary therapies in conjunction with traditional medical treatments.
Can I mix Reiki with other modalities on my healing quest?
Absolutely! Reiki is so gentle and non-invasive, and many modalities compliment it. I use meditation, sound therapy techniques, breathwork, crystal therapy, and intention setting in my own personal practice at home. [Meditation is my equal practice to Reiki]. I bring many of these components forward in my professional work as well.
I recommend clients explore any other energy healing modalities that call to them, including breathwork, shamanic work, hypnotism, sound healing therapy and meditation. I always recommend they receive advice on their lifestyle and exercise routines as well. I highly recommend exploring naturopaths, herbalists and dieticians. The link between wellness and lifestyle is essential. If you are experiencing anxiety, depression, or mental health concerns, I would highly recommend you reach out to counselling services.
Perth is graced with the most fantastic array of holistic practitioners, modalities and services. Definitely explore, experience and enjoy. My only caution might be to pace yourself. Go gently and respectfully in your journey with yourself. Allow time to integrate, absorb, understand and feel your way forward. Try not to push your progress. Don't bombard your energy field with a lot of different processes at any one time. Listen in. Go deep within and learn how to read your own energy field and trust your intuition. Everything you need to know is actually within you already. These practices [including Reiki] are tools to help you connect to yourself to bring forward your innate healing abilities already deeply embedded with your soul. Use them to help you reconnect, relax, and trust yourself to be guided for your own unique needs.

Everything in the entire universe is energy. When we work with this concept consciously and carefully, we craft, create, sculpture and paint with the power of the universe!
When we place our [at]tention on something, we are putting our energy 'out there'.
When we focus our [in]tention, we are moving 'inwards' and connecting to the energy of what we desire.
If we clear our past thoughts, put aside our previous experiences, allay our worries of the future [create a blank canvas], we can paint a new picture.
But first, we step out of the past [of what wasn't, went wrong, didn't get said, done or painted] and step back from the future [the 'what ifs', maybes, the worries of what might be], and stay in our studio. In our mind, in the present moment. The here, the now.
The energy of our clear intention creates an artist's easel. It holds our painting [supports our desire].
All thoughts are energy. [Our paint, our colours.] These thoughts we brush on our canvas, and they become our creation. [Our painting.]
As a thought spins outwards, that energy is in motion [emotion] and it starts its journey into the ethers and beyond to begin manifesting our intention and desire. [Our original thought.]
What is your painting [your vision] making you feel? Are you opening to love, to joy, to the excitement, to anticipation? Or are you not?
Tap in. Allow the universal language of emotion to support you in your creation. If it feels good, if the paint flows, if it is making your heart sing, then keep painting. If not, then review. Stand back, look from other angles. How would it feel if you changed the scenery you're painting, the tones of the colours, try a different brushstroke? Or maybe as you look your spirit soars and you find yourself finding even more new ways to create this masterpiece.
Follow your feels.
When you are tapped in, plugged into emotions that inspire [in spirit], and that opens the heart, then hold the vision and the thought stream steady to your desired outcome. For what goes out - comes back in.
As your painting progresses, be sure to watch your thoughts. Have you strayed? Pay attention. Did your brush begin to paint a different landscape without you even realising? The same careful and considerate way, we pick our colours is also the way our painting forms and therefore we must also pick our thoughts. We must lean into them. Be aware. Be mindful. Choose them purposefully and discard any colours that change the result.
We need to stay present. Not flip flop. Go from classic to abstract or from pastel to bright. We had the vision. When the emotions align, we stay with it if we want the result. When we time travel back and forward with our thoughts, we recolour our painting with memories of what didn't happen or mess it up with worries of what might. When we stay present, in the studio of our work, then we move towards our Magnus Opus!
But know, if we do make a mistake, go off track, pick up the wrong brush, mix the wrong shade, then we can paint it over. And again and again, if you have to. Return to your desire. Reset the intention to paint your masterpiece. Hold fast.
Let us continuously review our work—[Being mindful, observer of our thoughts]. Ask ourselves, do we like the picture we are painting? Do the colours gel, is this how I wanted it to look? What energy did I create with my last thought? Is it still resonant with the painting I wish to bring into my house? As the artist, we look at our tools, our paints, our colours, our application, our technique.
We want to bring this painting from the easel to the wall. We want to fill the frame. Curate each of your thoughts carefully and weave them with love. Take your time, stay present and stay reverent. Allow the brush to do the work for you. Let go and flow, as the paint drips on the canvas. Don't control how. Immerse in the art - [Enjoy the journey].
You are the creator of your brave New World. You are truly an Artist of Thoughts. You are perfect. Divine. And you are manifesting your new reality. You are an inspiration! [In-spirit-in-action.]

I have been noticing common "themes" - an underlying vibration that appear at times in the sessions I give over, say a week or two. It is really interesting. Different situations of course, but often an underlying core similarity.
It got me pondering on why we deal with similar issues at similar times and also the microcosm [our own individual existences, experiences and lives] and the macrocosm [the global situation, the collective consciousness] in our beingness!
:) Yep, deep - but hey, that is what lockdown and distancing does I've discovered. You kinda dip deep. And I know it is most likely the same for you, because we are all One. Individual grains of sand - but one beach. We are a single human being but we are also a one human collective.
As we work together on the trials and successes, my beautiful clients show me a mirror. A mirror to my own self and soul that also helps me reflect on myself but even more than that, they are also the mirror to what the entire human collective is playing out in the world.
Everything that happens in our micro world also plays out in some form in the bigger wider macro world. If we clear ourselves, rebalance and realign then we also do the same for the world. One grain of sand at a time.
That on that deep layer we all recognise we are not just human beings, but cosmic beings.
Even if we can't express this or even embrace this consciously, all of us know deep deep down that we are intricately connected to the entire Universe and that it lives within our very hearts. When we can begin to consciously connect with that thought then we begin to see the world in a very different way.
That if we let go of trying to control everything, we slip into a flow.
Yes and I also bow down to the fact that this is easier said than done. It takes a mindful observation of every action, reaction, thought and emotion we have.
But if we loosen our grip a little, a bit at a time, let go of the details, look at everything from a higher perspective then we find ourselves in a little sweet spot. A quiet space of absolute freedom. It is the gap between the thoughts, it is the cresting of a wave, it is the space between the breath inhaling and exhaling. It is a peaceful moment.
We control from fear of the unknown. The lesson for me this week was to remember to surrender, to trust and embrace the unknown. It is alright not to know. We do this from the heart, not the mind. From the vibration of love. Love all that you fear.
That we are learning how to wait. We are practicing being present.
We are being called by the global situation, the universe to be patient. There is a tapestry to our dreams, our wishes. It is being formed, stitched, created in the universe. It will be our opus, our greatest work. That takes time. It is a great work so we would be crazy to rush it. It may not be our time yet. The paint on the canvas is not yet dry. Hold fast to your visions. It is yet to unfold. Be in anticipation of your creation.
That while we wait, we lift the veil that has been covering us.
It seems as if we are waking from a dream. A misty veil of silk has covered our view. If we move closer to the curtain and pull it back or lift it up we begin to see a little clearer now. What is not aligned in the world? Your life? We peer squinting into the new brighter vision to see what it is we see. Question everything that appears, it may still have it's own covering. Does it need to be moved too? Take a close look at everything, it may not be as it seems on the first glance and see if you can shift, move or adjust things back into focus. How is the harmony? Can you shift the tone? Do you need a new perspective? Like a room that needs the furniture moved around. Keep what works. Make space for the new to come in.
And the most important message in the mirror this past week was that of Deep Love of Self.
Loving ourselves first and foremost. Before another. Before all others. Loving yourself so fiercely that you fill up your heart with the preciousness of love and have it spill into every cell, every atom. As it spills over, flows out and saturates all around you, they too will fill up and overflow. But we cannot fill another's cup from an empty vessel. We must, we absolutely must love, care and nurture ourselves.
We must be our own Mothers. Wrap ourselves in cotton wool pink and fluffy blankets, tuck ourselves in at night and send ourselves out the next morning with warm fuzzy thoughts about how loved we are.
We must be as kind to ourselves as we are to another. We must love, love, love ourselves. No self judgement, no nasty thoughts or words. You don't deserve that. No one deserves that and so many of us put ourselves on the end of the line. We get depleted, overwhelmed and quite frankly worn out.
So YOU first. Like the oxygen mask in an aeroplane, one of my clients said. Yes! Perfect analogy. You first, then you're available to help another. Then you are available to love another.
Now, look how much we teach ourselves as we journey through life! Life is quite the learning journey! We are all healers of our world and as we heal ourselves, we heal the other. Healing is multi dimensional and is never just at one level.

We do not become an accomplished pianist by hitting the keys sometimes. We do not become fit by going to a gym once or twice either. We do need to bring something into our life consistently to really embrace it. To live it. To breathe it.
And to have peace, we have to be it.
It takes practice.
Keep going!
When you feel into peace you will become peace and when we become peace we bring to the world peace of mind. Peace of heart and peace of humanity.
So keep a practice. Keep up your practice.
Each and every day, every moment.
Become an athlete of peace.
Practice this till you become a light that illuminates this light in others. Always tuned in. Always switched on.
Bring yourself to peace and then - let the rose gold flame of peace warm your heart, expand into all consciousness within you, beyond you - and fly into being on the dove wings of diamond crystalline light.
Be Peace.
]]>If the person who gave us a gift is with us when we open it, we will purposefully take it slow and peel off the layers of paper with reverence. We will uncoil the ribbons carefully, remove the outer decorations gently. We show them we care by the appreciation in our eyes, the expression in our face, the excitement in our voice. They have taken much time in this presentation of love and we honour that time as part of the process in receiving.
We delight slowly.
Unwrapping ourselves is like carefully peeling back the paper on a beautifully wrapped present.
Our outside self is carefully curated.
Our inside self is waiting.
We are on an ongoing process of self discovery, and there is much to discover and be grateful for.
Unwrap the layers of self with love and find the greatest gift of all within.
Your presence.
]]>
Then you too shall be healed.
This is a short 10 minute meditation just for you. To bring through the vibrations of a New Earth, healing our beautiful planet Gaia, healing ourselves and looking to the future.
I hope you enjoy!
Find a comfortable place to sit or lie. Close your eyes placing your two hands palms upwards. Take some deep breaths in and through your heart and relax as you listen.
From my heart to yours,
Elaine
Short version - TRANSCRIPT:
Healing Meditation for Gaia:
Place a visualisation of our dear planet Earth in your left hand and channel your love to her from the meridians of your heart, down through your arm, and into your palm. Allow that love to infuse, expand, saturate and illuminate through every part of her being and move into her crystalline heart.
Allow every cell in your body to transmit this love through the chamber of your heart.
Visualise another Earth in your right palm, healed, magnificent and in her intended original glory. Complete and perfect. See her in intricate detail and bow down your head in wonder. Infuse this New Earth also with this love. Open your heart with gratitude and grace as you connect to the divine crystalline heart of the planet.
Bring your palms together, one over the other and fuse the vision as One. Bring this manifestation of your love to your heart space, slowly moving your hands to your heart placing this precious New Earth in sacred union with Self.
Now through your breath, as a pure connection to Source, sit with your hands over your heart and breathe this into reality. Sit as with the love of a Mother and Child. Seed, future and tend your New Earth within your heart each day - for THIS is truly the time for great change.

When you look at these crystals in regular light they are lovely indeed. Some of my favourites in fact, that I work with regularly. But - when they are infused with light they move into a different dimension altogether! They hold magic, stories, codes and ancient songs that travel through the light to be heard, to be seen. There is a library inside them. Embedded deep within each is an entire Universe. Each of these crystal towers hold a unique signature they imprint on the world. If you scry into them through the heart space, you see what lies there under the deep.
They told me a story of wonderment today. They were busy, chatty, quite noisy and speaking over each other in their excitement to unfold. They told me many things but finally whispered of the wonder that has been infused into the world around us, put there for all to see - it surrounds us, it is of us. It also lies deep within us. Whisper more said I. The crystalline breath, said they...and the crystalline light in our cells, the crystalline core of the earth and maybe even the stars - Yes? Said I. Yes, said my crystal garden. Shine the Light. Scry into your own self. Examine all parts of Self with the light of the Universe. Beam it from within, radiate it out and you too shall see what lies beneath your deep. You too will move into a different dimension. Aaaah..I See..we just need the Light to see what there is we must see...
]]>When we look in the mirror, what is it we see in our reflection? What is it we see in our world?
]]>When we look in the mirror, what is it we see in our reflection? What is it we see in our world?
Today is a vibrational opportunity to mindfully craft what you want to see in your own mirror going forward. So today on this auspicious date, and on the next and everyday [which will be equally auspicious as they will be your present moment], look deeply in your mirror.
Envision a new personal reflection through your intentions, your thoughts, the details, the vibration, the light, the colour, the words, the vision.
And as we do so let us move our expanded reflection into the collective and see a NEW way of being for ourselves - individually and for the entire world and planet. Let us see ourselves living from the heart.
]]>Ho’oponopono as a very intentional vibrational energy will work across time and distance. It has the ability to create a positive alignment resolving even the most troublesome of issues. It simply requires a strongly focused intent, an open heart, and an open mind!
*As such, we are one and you are they and they are you - so we speak as one in the first person.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ho%CA%BBoponopono this one gives the traditional background.
Crystal Quartz generally does not require cleansing as other crystals may. It does not hold negative energies. Rather it takes them and transmutes them. They then dissolve back from whence they came.
However they can dull a little from constant handling. They can seem a little tired almost. We often wish to brighten or rebond with our crystal quartz pieces and tend to still clear them as we find the ritual of doing so re-enforces our intentions and relationship with the crystal. All living creations need love and care. So love and care away with a special cleansing ritual for your favourite stones.
Intention is everything. Intention is the key also when you intuit that its time to give your crystals a lovely cleanse. Whatever method you choose, do so with the highest intent and state it clearly to yourself and your crystal. A crystal is solidified light. Pure. A crystal holds in its structure, life itself - and the wisdom of nature. It just seems most respectful to hold them in high regard as we connect to their complex energy matrix.
Cleansing can easily be done, and there are many methods but here are some of our favourites:
Using White Sage:
Prepare a small dish with some earth scattered in the bottom.
Light a white sage stick until it begins to smoke. Pass the smudge stick over the crystals and allow the smoke to softly waft over and around the crystals. You can also pass the smaller crystals through the smoke if its easier to do so. Try and let the smoke work its magic for a good few minutes. A lovely way to move the smoke around is to use a feather to direct it around the area and the crystals you are cleansing.
The white sage smoke will cleanse and purify any dull vibrational energy the crystals have absorbed and then when you have finished, distinguish your smudge stick safely by dabbing it gently in the earth bowl.
To really enliven those crystalline vibrations, now energise the cleansed stone by placing outside in the sunlight or moonlight or even by a bright window to allow the elements to realign the crystal's vibrational balance.
Elemental Cleansing. The Water. The Earth. The Sun. The Moon.
This method will infuse the essence of the elements back to the crystal's memories.
The Water
Try and use the purest water you can. Keep it running, so the energy flows and place your crystals under the stream. Intend that the crystal is bathed, cleansed and filled to the brim with the love and light of the Universe itself.
The Earth
If you are digging your crystals in - mark the spot! You think you will remember, but it is strange how you often don't! If you have a beautiful pot plant you can use this, or alternatively you can fill a crystal bowl with a handful of good natural soil. Place them under the earth for a good 24 hours and let them connect themselves to their Source.
If you want to - bury them under the full moon and let the lady energise the earth as the earth energises the crystal. Nice.
The Sun.
Place outside in a beautiful sunny spot, by a bright breezy window and allow the sunrays to drop into the crystal and grow the energies out to the Universe! It is beautiful. Simple. Powerful.
The Moon
Our preferred method is to dust them in moonlight. Use the bright Luna lady either the day before, the day she IS full and fat, or the day after, to bathe your crystals. Her vibrations are strongest over these 3 days. State your intention. Let the magic begin!
Crystal to Crystal
Naturally high resonating stones such as Apophylite and Selenite can actually cleanse another crystal. Simply place a crystal on top or touching these magnificent stones and allow the partnership to unfold.
**The methods above will work for many other crystals too, but some research might be required for certain stones. There are stones (Selenite for example), that do not fare well in water baths or moisture, so you would need to be mindful of rain or dew if placed outside. Other stones, such as Amethyst, Smoky Quartz or Fluourite, can fade in strong sunlight.
]]>Place the crystal cupped between your hands and place your hands on your lap. Sit quietly in an upright position with your feet on the floor and breathe rhythmically.
]]>USING YOUR CRYSTALS IN A MEDITATION
Set your intention in your mind for what you would like to know or understand through the meditation.
Place the crystal cupped between your hands and place your hands on your lap. Sit quietly in an upright position with your feet on the floor and breathe rhythmically. Allow your breath to be deep and draw into the depths of your lungs and release the breath naturally. Centre your mind on your breath and feel your feet getting heavy, becoming connected and embedded into the earth’s crust. In your imagination see your feet grow deep roots. These roots reach into the very centre of the earth and reach down into her crystalline core.
The roots are hollow like a pipe and you draw up a beautiful healing energy from Gaia through the roots. This energy can be any colour you choose. See this energy seep into your feet and slip through every cell in your body. It travels up through your body just in front of your spinal column and rests at each chakra point for a moment energizing your entire being.
Your whole being is filled with the coloured energy and you give thanks to Gaia for her support and sustenance to your physical being.
You feel the top of your crown (chakra point) opening and the energy moves out, through and around you, infusing with your entire aura, back into your skin, your cells and you become one with that energy stream.
Breathe and settle with this vibrational energy as long as it feels comfortable, then imagine a beautiful light streaming down from the heavens and coming through the crown chakra and into the body, through the upper chakra points and streaming into your heart space and merging with the energy from Gaia. This light is often white or gold, but again the colour is as you see it.
If you find your mind wandering at any point, return to notice your breathing and neutralise the thoughts. Do not judge them, notice them and let them go.
Sit in this merged energy from above and below and bring your concentration to the crystal in the palm of your hands. You can have your eyes closed or open, so you either feel the crystal or look at it. Sit as quietly as you can and see if you have images, symbols or thoughts that may assist you in working through any issues in your world. You may feel your imagination activated or a random inspiration comes through. Take notice and see if you can find any relevance.
Be patient. It can take a little practice particularly if you are not used to meditating. Keep your intentions clear. Return to them and your breath if your mind wanders to the mundane or ordinary type of thoughts and mind chatter.
Allow yourself to come out of the meditation at any time. Do not force the process, you will find you will build up longer sessions naturally as you become comfortable with the process. You can take 5 minutes or an hour. Use your own comfort and intuition.

Welcome to the July 2018 post of our Peaceful Tarot series
The Golden Tarot
I have owned this beautiful deck for some time now. I was initially drawn to the wonderful gilding edges and the painstaking collage style artwork taken from medieval paintings to form the tarot story. It was the first deck I purchased after I decided it was time for me to move afield from the Rider Waite Tarot and I was looking for something a little mysterious but also suitable for me to use as I was still becoming familiar with tarot per se. I was absolutely fascinated about the creative process used to create the deck and the intricate subtleties, so I decided the Golden Tarot was perfect. It truly is a delight to read.

Nine of Cups reversed.
This card when looked at upright is so serene. So silent. So peaceful. A pause, a resting vibration of nurturing and love. Peace at the higher level of understanding.
Mother and child connected in their spirituality. Reverence to new life. The loyalty of family and the stability of love. There is abundance at the foundation of the card and a message also from our higher self,
There is no doubt this card is fortuitous. The cups represent our deepest emotions, our loves, our relationships, our feelings and our heartfelt internal vibrations. There are indeed many cups in this card, crowning us as an offering – a card of manifestation. It is a card that you would be pleased to draw in a private reading. In fact it is often called the wish card.
But you know the old saying…be careful for what you wish for….
This is not meant to be a dire prediction that all will begin to slide. It is simply a nod to the clarity needed before setting your wishes. And when they come, handle each experience with grateful respect.
Sometimes it happens, when life starts to go our way, when we start to find our path, when we begin to reap the rewards and benefits then we can often pat ourselves a little too hard on our own backs. We can embody the achievement, the satisfaction, and the fulfillment to wear as a badge of entitlement. For this we need to be mindful. It is at this point of time that we could instead reach down and be thankful for the loyalty of our friend, dog, at our feet and the bowl of cherries placed before us. The crow in the card brings this message home to us.
Can we remain humble and modest? Can we remain grateful? Can we remain at the heart of the matter?
Our card is reversed. I intend my readings of reversed cards to be that of the internal landscape rather than the external. This card then echoes all of the upright energy on a subconscious level. The wishes we hold deep within.
When the card and cups are reversed, does our cup become empty? Are we not able to anchor and manifest our wishes into real time? Are we so busy wanting, that we lose and tip our balance? Or is it more that what we desired isn’t all it was supposed to be? Or are we addicted to the wanting, rather than acknowledging what we have already, is really what we seek? Do we even know anymore what it is we wish to have? Or is it that we are simply not ready yet to claim our prize?
The inner emotions seem to be pouring out with so many questions. But it would seem with the vibrations of this card, that even if there are those questions within your deep inner self, you would still be able to draw down and attain a deeper and truer sense of happiness and fulfillment of desires.
If we can maintain the flow in our lives from our heart space this month and remain grateful, peaceful and also humble, then these may well be the keys required so we can allow the gifts of the universe to slide into our collective consciousness with grace.
So go right ahead. Bring forth your subconscious desires for the world this month. Filling your internal cups with clear and focused visions you desire for your community, for your world, for humanity and pulling them through your heart to spill into the world, will allow your wishes to flow outwards with love and peace – and manifest.

Welcome to the June 2018 post of our Peaceful Tarot series
Six of Swords
There has been massive change and upheaval happening in the world of late. New thought patterns are being thrown forth and we are beginning to see some very inspiring and heartfelt solutions coming forward, being integrated and accepted into our lives. There is much in the air!
Sometimes however, on our everyday, individual level, it is easy to feel it is not happening fast enough, that humanity is still spiraling out of control. Navigating life’s obstacles and walking on rocks is tiresome and grueling at times and that can create a bleakness blanketing out the good that is slowly pushing through.
The message this card speaks to is one of the space we often find ourselves in when we are experiencing pain and trauma. The place we are in when the tears begin to subside.
The swords in this card have been laid down indicating we might be feeling somewhat ‘battle weary.’ Some of us have been/are experiencing great personal change; almost an uprooting of everything we believe in, and this is creating massive alterations in our physical expressions. We may be travelling, moving, considering living permanently in a new location or re-evaluating our mindset, our family and relationships and our priorities. Others are recuperating, licking their wounds so to speak, and slowly moving on from very difficult personal circumstances. Many are struggling with loss, health issues and major life upheavals and still others are experiencing the low and the blue of the mind. It has not been an easy time past for many. It would seem a lot of disruption, disturbance and change have blown through both humanity as a whole and our individual lives.
As we sit, with the rain still falling in this card, but our battles fought, our swords at our feet, it may feel we are sitting in a centre spot. But the centre of what? If you feel a little empty here, know that this is just space that you are feeling into. Spaciousness is not emptiness. Sometimes it feels strange because our lives are never spacious, we fill them up to the brim. We usually keep ourselves so busy and occupied with the stories that we weave around all that we do and see.
Yet in this time past, you, we, us have been busy energetically together creating space for the entire world, with all the clearing we have been and are going through, both individually and on a collective level. As we wander through the journey of life we get the opportunity to clear. We will never recognise it as a gift, but it truly is. We come out the other side with more room, with more of our true self on the outside and more connection to the whole of humanity on the inside.
On an innate level we know we have to do this. Go through this. We know deep down that where there is space there is room to bring in the new. This truly is not an easy thing to do. It always requires great courage, focus, steadfast intent and a new way of perceiving. When we fall in, exhausted, weary, surrendered, then it feels strange, but to feel space is good, it is freedom.
So we really needed to clear whatever it was we cleared – or are still in the process of clearing. We needed to repair the wounds and move into the shadows of our mind. How else do we see the light if we don’t first experience the dark? How do we heal if we don’t first understand we need to? We need to strip ourselves bare. Stand exposed. Face ourselves. Then love ourselves back to bits that are glued together with compassion, understanding and reverence.
The wind has dropped in the 6 of Swords. The howling and the swirling eased. There is a sense of calm. The air is still. You can still see and hear the density in the rain and its momentum builds up, drops off and builds again. There is denseness in the sound but spaciousness in the vibration. Rain against the window makes you feel like you want to watch, but you would like to stay cosy inside, in the dry. You can stay warm. The swords have been laid down. No need to battle anymore. Let them lie. Let the blood dry. Acknowledge it. Release it. Let it be.
The 6 brings in the Mother energy with the unfolding of her gentle spiral form. You are loved. You are supported. You have everything you need. It is time to rest and become vital again. It is time to bring your every attention and daily practice to that which you desire not the opposite. Feel into the rainbow and integrate each colour fully and firmly into your field and share it with the world.
Focus now on the rainbow. Cast your eyes skyward, the tightness lifts the higher you raise yourself. Move to travel on the bow of colours cast above you, heading there with eyes of love, hope, inspiration and trust. This is the peaceful you, the spacious you and the new you. Move away from the dark into a new light. A lightness of being.
Many blessings to you all,
Elaine

We send great love with the Peace crystals on our site. They are special. You are special. It is important for us to present these crystals to you with the best of intentions and only for your greater and higher good.
It is our belief that in raising our own personal vibrations we raise the vibrations of the planet. And this can only be a good thing. We also believe crystals of the world can assist us greatly in keeping our focus on the balance of light within us and of activating energising our own internal crystalline core......

The Legend: "From a distant star in the Pleiades I came forth to Earth on a mission of my soul’s evolution. My form is light and pliable. I can move, rise and fall in an instant. I am that of an ethereal cloak. Almost there, almost not. Like an invisible spirit. I am not large, yet I am not small. I glow a little with the stardust in my veins.
My mission is that of the Crystal Farmer. I am to establish a crop of crystals on the Earth’s plane that will grow to begin the formation of all crystals. I come with crystal seeds. Little dust like particles that hold the knowledge of the light and of the Peace..
I am The Agrarian of Crystal Light."
As physical beings we often become unaligned with Gaia, Mother Earth in which we reside and we also forget to honour our own body and physicality as we rush around on our daily chores. It is important to recognise this disconnect and find a way to re-establish balance in all areas of your life and also to our connection of the esoteric and spiritual matters There are many ways - gardening, walking in natural surroundings, meditation, healing rituals, personal practices such as yoga, tai chi, the use of mantras, prayer or using tools such as crystals are just some of many.
At the Peace Practice we find a crystal is simply a beautiful tool to use to help re-anchor yourself. Use the crystal as a bridge to navigate this separate state of being between the physical and spiritual and bring yourself to a balance of One.
As the owner of a crystal, you are for that time, a custodian of this piece of Gaia and if it is treated with reverence and respect you will find great comfort in its strength.
Use it as you feel you should in a way that is right for you.
It is our belief that:
Crystals are able to construct, hold, intensify, focus, transmit and transform energy and matter. This comprises all – including thought, emotion and information.
Your crystals already hold an energy memory in their core. They will impart messages and vibrations to you, as you allow them to do so. As well as a hereditary memory, the Peace Crystals on this site have all been carefully cleared and infused with the beautiful sacred, subtle energy of Reiki and then respectfully programmed to speak to you of Peace.
These crystals, should you believe it to be so, and should you allow that belief to take root in your being, may serve as a portal to the remembrance that you yourself are The One. The healer of your world. This knowing is Peace.
How to use your crystal:
You can use the Peace crystals in any intuitive way you should choose. The following are suggestions for you. Nothing is right and nothing is wrong. You will find your own way of using them. Give yourself permission to do so. If you are unsure where to start may we suggest the following:
Begin by getting to know your crystal:
Hold it. Look at it. Feel it. Study it. Begin to know it. Feel the indentations, the markings. Have your eyes closed or open and breathe in the very soul of this beautiful piece of nature.
Introduce yourself. State a clear intention that you wish to align the crystal’s frequency with your own and to accept the vibrations, lessons, teachings and insights it may offer.
At any time if you wish the crystal to help with any other matter in your mind, clearly state this intention and ‘give it’ to the stone.
Continue the relationship:
As any friendship unfolds, so will your relationship with your crystal. You will begin to feel the stone’s vibrational chord and you will begin to match its resonance energy.
· You can sleep with the crystal under your pillow.
· Take it with you.
· Leave it in a decorative position in your house or room.
· Meditate with it.
· Use it as a healing tool by placing it on troubled areas and intending release and
understanding of issues.
· Lay with it on your heart and feel it’s pulse.
· Chat to it. Tell it your troubles. Show appreciation.
· Use it as a ‘worry stone’ and roll it round your hands and just feel it.
· See if you can feel a physical sensation with the crystal. Does it feel hot? Cold?
Buzzy or Tingly?
· Ponder on the intricacies within its core. What shapes do you see?
Look at the physical formations of your particular stone and concentrate on one at a time. Stroke, examine and familiarise yourself, with both a tactile and visual touch, with the properties of your particular crystal. For example, if there is a channel embedded in the crystal, as your touch follows the channel - what comes to mind? Are you prompted to certain memories? Or, take your crystal out in the sun and look at it in different light. If you have a rainbow echo within the stone - how does this make you feel?
Think of your crystal as a keeper of universal records. They hold a library of knowledge for you to unfold.
To have PEACE be it.
PEACE of mind. PEACE of heart. PEACE of self. PEACE of humanity.

Welcome to the May 2018 post of our Peaceful Tarot series
Four of Swords
This has been a difficult month! I connected into the collective as I usually do, to draw my monthly tarot card for the perspective of peace and here we are, from the magnificent Hermetic Tarot deck has come the Four of Swords.
I have actually decided not to write it up this month as a collective card as I fear this draw is more about me personally than anything else!
The fours can be about stability and foundation but this can drift according to expectations and situations. Maybe the title of card explains it the best.
Back on track next month!

Reflecting on the growth of the emerging new humanity, it feels a little the same.
]]>
Welcome to the April 2018 post of our Peaceful Tarot series
Son of Pentacles, Reversed
I intend that reversed cards might show me how to tune in beneath the surface, or to look at the inner world of the card and as I connect with this card of the Son of Pentacles Reversed, I feel somewhat quiet. A reflective, emotive sense of being. Not sad, just quiet.
I see the youth and vitality of the Son, with his newly forming antlers – more than a bud but still finding their strength. I bow down as he does here. I bow down to the emergence of a being, one who is growing and learning, moving forward – with life at his feet. So much to do, so much to be. So much to come.
Reflecting on the growth of the emerging new humanity, it feels a little the same.
The Pentacles reflect the practical foundation on which we build our lives and here bows the boy. He bows to the Earth. A bow to the foundation? Maybe. A reflective nod? A sigh? A rest? All? Yes. A breath. Taking a breath. Slipping into the gap. He is bowing to himself. “I bow down.” Says He – the Son.
I move inside and look some more.
The Son whispers to me – “I am young at this”. A pause.
“Sometimes I am fearful. Sometimes I am afraid of the dark within my own being.
Yet I also know the light shines above me and rains the shadows away.”
He continues to talk quietly. I continue to hear him.
“I carry the lunar pentacle of 5. The magical pentacle and the number of dynamic energy. The number of independence, motion, unpredictability. The moon’s crescent wraps around me. She protects me, illuminates me and lifts me up. The way she lifts me is to anchor me down. Intuition wrapping around wisdom.
“I am the Divine Masculine emerging from the new foundations. I am to anchor here in a new way. I am learning how. For the moment I shall ponder and focus on my path. I shall feel my way.
“As I move my footing, I combine. I move in and weave the light with the dark. I weave in the essence of One. I move to Her. She moves to Me. And we come together as we fully intended. Inside I know this to be true. I just have to now find my space, my knowing and then I can lift my head. Yes, for the moment I am quiet. But I will emerge. And we shall all be free.”
Oh, Son! I hear your song in the heart of all men. And I hear the welcome to this new world from all women.
So in this card I see the quiet of the brave new masculine energy filtering through to our newly laid foundations. I see it coming forth from our youth as they move away from the old set of rules and I see it filter in like new light in the morning from all men. As the Divine Feminine rises, so too does the Divine Masculine. I see it my sessions, as more and more men come in to work with their heart space. I see it in their eyes. I see it in the meditation groups I attend that more and more men seek a different path. I hear it in their conversations. I sense it in the air.
It is still growing. This powerful understanding and melding of energies, vibrations and souls. It is still anchoring into the wider collective. But you can feel into the Peace it will bring when this card is drawn - and it is no longer reversed...
Many blessings,
Elaine

As I ponder on this beautiful card I see a portal, within a portal, within a portal. An opening, a gateway, a channel, a path. Movement on the steps are up but also down, allowing a free energetic flow both ways. Traveling softly, much exchange, much support – an uplifting love...

Welcome to the March 2018 post of our Peaceful Tarot series
A few months back the lovely Denise Cann from Seeds of Synergy kindly drew me a card from her Rumi Oracle deck.
I have been a follower of Rumi’s teachings and poetry for a long time and I was so blown away with these beautiful cards and the message that came through for me from Denise, that I put them on my Christmas List!
And they manifested !!! I have so enjoyed them.
I have drawn one here for my monthly Peaceful Tarot reading as a bit of a change from the regular Tarot decks.
I have given my own intuitive interpretation of the card from the intention I always set for these monthly readings – and that is for a message from the perspective of peace for the collective consciousness. (This was written without me using the interpretation from the Oracle deck, which is messaged for the single soul drawing the card.)
I have written out the poem from Rumi’s teachings via Alana Fairchild for your interest as her interpretation in the Oracle guide book is divinely inspired by her connection to the cards, the artwork and Rumi. I do hope you enjoy. (Due to copyright regulations on the Oracle cards I cannot display her interpretation here for you.)
Number 11 Sacred Convergence
As I ponder on this beautiful card I see a portal, within a portal, within a portal. An opening, a gateway, a channel, a path. Movement on the steps are up but also of course go down - allowing a free energetic flow both ways. Traveling softly, much exchange, much support – an uplifting love.
As the portals slowly revolve and create another such opening, another such path - I see the Sacred Convergence moving into every level, every dimensional divide, every experience. This Sacred Convergence is a space now available to us, to bring forward into all existence and all experiences.
On the wider cosmic level I feel a massive shift as it opens up the entire planet to receive the convergence and meeting of all beings in existence in all Universes, all minds, all thought forms.
There is a huge energetic influence in this meeting. The card dances with it. There is the energy of our foundation, transformational energy and action of the fire element. The golden and solar influences from Source under-lights the vibrational aspects of such huge exchanges. The card when you meditate with it can be breathtaking with the energy it holds.
I see also in the card another symbolic portal that speaks of the Heart Space within all human beings, which we are graced with. The beating vibrancy that gives and receives life in human form and connects us also to the mysteries and ebb and flow of the Universes beyond ourselves.
The Heart now opens up, expands and becomes a convergence point, the sacred space within ourselves that will always light our way, that will always set the path, that will always receive the combined love of all cosmic beings – if we are to step inside and allow. As we do so, we also step up and outside of our physical selves and open the gateway to a flood of new energies.
The Heart Space portal aligns at this point in our lives to the Divine energies of the Masculine and the Feminine. A fusion and balance now of the Sun and the Moon. The dark and the light. The opposites in synthesis. This too, a Sacred Convergence of All That There Is to bring harmony and balance, support and love.
If we move, travel and live in this Heart Space we will remember and converge with our Higher Selves, our spiritual connections and create the Sacred point to connect ourselves truly with all life, all beings and love. We will find peace within every situation, within every experience, shadow and form that we come across. We can change the world from this gateway, one heartbeat at a time.
For me, this card becomes a divine and timely reminder that we do not travel unsupported. The Universe aligns in all energies and converges with us now, by our intention, to allow us back to love and remembrance if we truly live through our Heart________________so allow your mind to rest in the background, turn the volume down and feel your way forward through the space of the Sacred Convergence. Peace.
From the Alana Fairchild: Rumi Oracle
Roaming about town
The master was holding a light, saying
“I am weary of the demons and the beasts;
a human is what I am longing for!”
The human cannot be found;
We have searched!
“What cannot be found
is what I am longing for!”
Although poor and needy,
I will not accept small pieces of ruby.
The mine of the of the finest rubies
Is what I am longing for!”
One hand holding a cup of wine
And the other, the curls of the beloved.
A dance like this, in the middle
Of the circle, is what I am longing for.
How I have longed for you. My very own. Look no further, for the family beyond your family, the relationship beyond all other relationships, the great love that unveils all other loves to be mere reflections of the one great and true love, is here. For you. Now.
It is I who has sought you through the stirrings of your own heart. Yes, ‘twas I, hidden beneath every secret, yearning for something more, something full, something special, something all-encompassing. Behind every yearning, always, I have hidden. Now I show myself to you, that you may become so filed with the same passionate devotion that I hold for you that your mind will fall away, overwhelmed by the sheer intensity of love tossed into an ocean of silent unending bliss.
Come to me. We are to be one now. In sacred convergence of silent, eternal passion.
Rumi
With love and blessings this March.

About 18 months ago my Mum showed me a photo of the most divine flower. It was a Moonflower and from a large plant in her neighbour’s house. I was fascinated. Maybe it was Cancer’s influence that came in with me when I was born – I don’t really know, it just resonated. The neighbour, hearing I was so taken, very kindly sent over a small cutting. Well. This was quite a responsibility for me. I was very grateful, but a little concerned too. After all, no instructions came with the cutting and I have not been known for my green thumb. In fact as I bought the tiny plant home, my husband raised two eyebrows towards the moon and queried ‘how long will this one last?’
I was annoyed with him but also shared his lack of confidence in me.
Carefully however, I set an intent not to do her any harm and I chose a spot to place the pot. Mostly shade, morning sun and a view to the sky. After all a moonflower should be able to see the sky?
I was too nervous to do anything else. I did not want to risk a repot from the plastic, not wanting to disturb her. I duly watered her and began talking to her too. Urging her not to be worried and that I would do my best! (Yep I know, bring your eyebrows down.)
Well, Moonflower settled in and took a sprout, then another and moved right up into a space that was much bigger than the pot that was holding her. I had to do it. I had to repot. Oh my. This is my weak link. I often disturb the balance when I get to this stage but this time I was determined. I chose a nice blue ceramic pot and replanted with fresh mix and put a lovely crystal quartz in the top soil to keep her company. I began to give Reiki to Moonflower everytime I passed her or watered her (yes, you CAN Reiki plants.) I chatted brightly to her as she established herself in her new blue home and we seemed to be getting along just fine.
There. I can do it. My confidence grew and I even bought myself a gorgeous Peace Lilly and launched into another new friendship, this time inside my house. I was now well on my way to greening the thumb. I even briefly fantasised at one point about planting some vegetables. My husband’s eyebrows still were way too high, but I was on a roll and feeling (albeit cautiously) optimistic in my ability to become – a real gardener!
On the last night of February, she flowered for the first time. Three small pods appeared as if from nowhere. I was absolutely delighted but was going away. I secretly hoped she would wait the week but no, I missed the big ‘event’. My daughter who was house sitting kindly sent me this photo. They were gorgeous she said but the same night they bloomed had gotten a little bashed around in a storm.
I was nevertheless delighted and was busy patting my thumbs and taking full credit.
And so since February, Moonflower and I have been continuing our relationship. Reiki, crystal connection, water, sunshine and conversation. She needs repotting again but this time I am okay with it – I just thought I would wait – I noticed a week ago two huge flower pods. They seemed much more prominent than the February pods. They mysteriously appeared out of nowhere. They weren't there one minute, but they were the next. It was a bit like witnessing a surprising magic trick. They were enigmatic - almost triffid like, tightly sheathed, very private and over the course of the next days grew larger, almost to the length of my hand. I decided I would wait till she strutted her stuff and then move her. I watched the pods carefully but they remained bound and reposed. I began to imagine they were holding secrets in their flower bellies.
Yesterday however, I couldn’t stop looking at them. I was home and kept being drawn to her side. I must have checked in on her at least 10 times during the day! The stem of the pod which is unusually delicate to hold such a heavy weight, initially bore downwards, but today they had both began to curl upwards to the cosmos, against gravity. It was if she was going to give birth and I was waiting on signs of contractions. The twin babies were moving into birth position.
I must say. They are kind of weird these Moonflowers. Not THE most attractive plant per se. Not ugly. Sort of a climbing succulent kind of leaf. Easily a plant that you might walk on by in an average garden. But once she whispers to you, you cannot stop listening!
We had an extended Reiki session together mid morning and an almost meditative conversation as I just had this feeling she was getting ready. (Is this what happens to Real Gardeners, I pondered. Do you go a little weird yourself?) I feel absolutely connected to this plant. I can hear her. Please do not mention this to the husband, his eyebrows will never again be situated in the normal position when he looks at me....
At 5.30ish just before it got dark I took these photos. Flowers curled skyward but still tightly enfolded. I then went out and forgot about her.
I came back at 9.00pm, completely unconnected from the expectant mother and walked outside with the dogs and she just threw her new babies right out at me! Look what I just did, she screamed in joy! Oh my, oh my. Two humongous flowers fully birthed, out wide, open and incredibly beautiful. It honestly made me gasp! I was expecting it but nevertheless it was very unexpected!
A birth of the moon on Earth Day. Poignant. These flowers are the size of a small dinner plate. They truly illuminate your soul. It is as if the moon has not only dropped down into your patio but also your own consciousness and dappled you with the Bright Lady Lunar light. Their perfume, sublime. Their essence, peaceful. Transcendent beauty – for one night, one performance only. It is as if the secret of life, encased in white feathered petals, strung with the mysterious threads of existence swiftly are released. Like angels going forth. White. Pure. Enchanted. Magnificent. Heralded by trumpets. The reminder that there is an All. Here I Am. Fly high. Fly wide.
The photos don’t do them any real justice.
All I can tell you, if you ever get a chance to establish a friendship with a moonflower – just do.
With love and blessings,
Elaine

You have been still. You have been seeking. You have stayed within your moments and pondered in great contemplation of the inner realms. Welcome to the February 2018 post of our Peaceful Tarot series
This reading for February is all about shining our light into the world.
The Hermit Reversed
You have been still. You have been seeking. You have stayed within your moments and pondered in great contemplation of the inner realms. Your patience has been great as you slowly traversed great deserts with deliberation. You have found, and you have lost. There was sadness and solemn nights alone, tucked away and in darkness – with the light only that burnt softly in your heart.
As you became the seeker of the truth. As you became the searcher to find your own soul. As you became the learner of the ways, you uncovered the story – the story of the great treasure. You moved in the same spirals that the winds flowed and you moved with the beat of Gaia’s heart through your footprint. You heard of the treasures the ancient ones had left behind. Was it left, or just whispered about? No matter, you heard about it, somewhere. You heard the call of the heart through the Divine Feminine voice of Gaia. My name is Sophia she said, and I speak to you, of yourself and of the intricate web of life we weave together.
Once you heard, you began to notice the birds spoke about it in their song and the flowers sent messages in their pollen. The trees embedded it in the grasses and the beetle rode with it on his back. The rivers softly drew you down the bank as the waters dripped into your consciousness and you floated many times towards the sun.
Ancient codes were drawn upon your being. They reveal a magical oracle etched into your soul. All of which caused you to become a BE-ing not a DO-ing human. Now as you BE, you feel as if your light is illumined. Softly glowing at first, now you begin to radiate and expand the flame with each breath.
It was so, that you sat. You saw your reflection in the cosmic mirror in every pond, every stream you visited. You echoed the memories of the ancient Earth in your bones and you have learned to sit with the patience of peace. You have managed the illusions and waited for the mirage to settle back into the dust before accepting the vision as truth. And as you did so, within the deep meditations and in the stillness of the dark nights of your soul, you have wondered at the radiance of each lantern.
You have learned there is much to learn. You now know that you know nothing. And there is much to teach about the nothing you know. But you also know now that there is no hurry. You can move as slowly as you feel comfortable, but it is a fact that move you must! There is no doubt with this point. So do not bother to argue that you may not be ready. It simply is the right action to take. As you navigate the way out from your shell, the light you hold beams out into the great cosmos and beckons you follow that path. Your soul is whispering louder and louder. It is time dear Hermit to BE some more.. So, do not hurry – but do not tarry as it IS time, it is time. It is time. Time to shine your light upon the world.
Go in Peace.

Welcome to the January 2018 post of our Peaceful Tarot series
The 3 Pillars of Success for 2018. This reading is focusing on what is required for us to fully move into our true potential for the year of 2018.
The Earth grids have undergone much rearrangement, the magnetics and energies changing charge levels, pulling our tender physicality into new form and we have experienced tremendous change in not only our singular lives, but within our collective reality. Veils are lifting, we see with new eyes, we speak with new voices and we are realigning our purpose with our inner self as we stand now on the threshold of a New Year.
Already the energy is pumping in on Supermoon orbs and the galactic golden sunshine - and we are barely a fortnight in. Those who are energy sensitive have been holding onto their hats, hanging onto the bicycle handle and are already freewheeling into January. It feels fast. It feels full of promise and you can hear the heartbeat of the world underfoot.
As the eyes of all open globally, wider and wider and visions come pouring in, we are left wondering how it was that we never saw what we now see. The curtains of our heart have parted and we can thrust and burst open the window they covered. Unsash the tassle. Or pull out the key. Unlock the door. Open it in whatever way we can - we must. As now we do see, we have no choice but to look. So as we look with those eyes opened from wide shut to fully aware, we are called to act, speak, and move with our heart space flung open to let in the new fresh air.
So let us see what my new Hermetic Tarot card deck has to say about all this.
The first card drawn is to explore the 1st Pillar of success. This card is The Empress and it has been placed in the middle of the spread. (The first card being central to success.)
The 1st Pillar of Success card represents PASSION.
“Daughter of the Mighty Ones”
Our Empress represents the door with which we walk through to fully open the heart space in divine resonance and harmony and in our own complete and utter sovereignty.
Sitting in the power of the sacred planet Venus, potent in her divine feminine essence and strong in her balance, she is supported by the transformation of the black alchemical eagle at her feet. She can reach the entire world through her rebirth, resurrection and consciously ignite a new passion and version of life through her focus and vision.
A representation of transformation to the element of fire from water, she rises with energetic spirals at her side that reach far beyond her singularity. The Empress is balance within love. Love of all. Love of everything. Merging with The Emperor she brings wings to the union of divine masculine and divine feminine principles in all things.
She looks with eyes encompassing both these qualities and points a clear diamond focus with the scepter of her visionary actions. She clothes herself in the golden sun and balances the lunar energies, once again combining polarities for a new way.
So in the drawing of this card the energies of The Empress fall gently down on our New Earth. She tells us of the process we are presently in – one of regeneration, transformation, integration and the uniting of the opposite energetic from the masculine voice and the feminine voice.
As we drop into the heart to find the balance in all things we find from there we can move to find our own personal passion. When you work with your passion, you find your purpose and peace. As does the world.
The Empress calls to you to embrace the regeneration, the rebirth anew as you cleared your muddied visions in 2017. Vision instead through a clear, lasered focus into the coming months. Stay in the heart. Grow your wings. Let the fire energy fuel you and the water take you. Let the air breathe you and the earth support you.
*Enter the world of 2018 in your full sovereign balance.
The second card drawn is to explore the 2nd Pillar of success. This card is The Three of Cups and it has been placed on the left of the spread.
The 2nd Pillar of Success card represents PURPOSE.
“Lord of Abundance”
Mercury speaks to us through this card and whispers a message from the Gods above. The powerful undercurrent of energy in this card wells up from deep within us and illuminates what is within our mind, communication and our verbal discourse.
The divine feminine energy again appears. She streams through the water embedded in this card and we begin to feel the very consciousness that the water itself holds. How it speaks to us, how it teaches us, how it moves us. The connection to flow rises within and we pull it through, not only our physicality but into our very soul and through to our Higher Self. Connecting to All That There Is through the flowers blossoming at every point of our being. The flow continues, overflows, glides, refreshes and fills our cups – and then regenerates the well beneath our feet. The continuous motion of life in full abundance.
The conscious movement of the water, the resolute way it moves us is how we also can move ourselves. When we are in mindful flow we are in tune with our environment, our lives, our relationships and the Universe at large. We can reach into every cup available to us – as if a gift – and drink from each with gratitude, knowing we are sustained by the endless course of life source.
We can move new visions to our dreams, our happiness, and our loves with the knowing we have support from the Universe.
If we now infuse our plans with a purpose (using our mental mind to plan through our feminine intuitive knowing) then we will find ourselves dropping into the natural rhythm and flow of life and letting it move us. If we travel forward this way we will bring forth abundance, success, healing and the resolution of difficult situations – for others and ourselves.
*Communicate, set and purify your purpose through your intuitive heart.
The third card drawn is to explore the 3rd Pillar of success. This card is The Seven of Swords and it has been placed to the right of the spread.
The 3rd Pillar of Success card represents INTEGRATION.
“Lord of Unstable Effort”
The Seven of Swords charges in with the energy of the moon and the somewhat eccentric energy of Aquarius. In our real time of 2018 to date we have already had one Super moon injection and another due at the end of January so this card may be no surprise.
We are feeling somewhat victorious as we bend our swords in reverence to the great point in the sky, but knowing at the same time the bend must continue, casting some of our metal straight and some with flexible direction. Murkiness might linger and the clearing continue, but we can confidently know that what comes up can still be swept by our own sword – if we stay the course. As we take a breath – we allow the understanding of the battle we’ve come through to manifest and settle. We allow the time to integrate, rest, repair and rise again.
If we take on board this integration and this time to match the Aquarian energy this card brings, we will be able to ride the flow in The Three of cups with ease and grace. By understanding the underlying messages that our life presents to us, understanding the new vibrations and the new world, we stand poised to fully absorb and assimilate all we have learned.
So just this moment, for this week, for January or for a breath, or three… integrate what has been before:
Be one with yourself, bring yourself into trust with your own truth and stand fast, feeling into the changes that have been and also the changes that will come. If you vision the possibilities of your life through your own eyes, through your internal knowing, your core, your heart then you won’t wobble.
*Stand fast and vision through your heart.
Summary:
Enter the world of 2018 in your full sovereign balance.
Communicate, set and purify your purpose through your intuitive heart.
Stand fast and feel into the change that has been and the changes that will come, by visioning the possibilities through your internal knowing, your core, the heart – and you won’t wobble.
Peace to you all throughout 2018.
Many blessings,
Elaine

If we were to imagine how the vibration of harmony or peace may look if it were a solid structure, then we would see it in the stone of the Celestite.
She is a teacher, she is a healer, she is a connector and she free flows. She glides through the higher frequencies of the soul-star chakra, lifting us higher than the crown and taking us to heights we may not even be able to describe. Read on to find our about the gentle Lady Celestine who will have you holding your breath in her presence and stop by the Peace Shop where you'll meet some of these lovely Madagascan Celestites looking for a custodian to take them home......
]]>Now, if we were to imagine the colour of heaven we might conjure up an image reminiscent of the blue Celestite.
If we were to imagine the sparkle in the eye of our third, we might see it mirrored in the blue of the Celestite cluster.
If we were to visualise how the vibration of harmony or peace may look if it were a solid structure, then we might see the Celestite stone.
She is a teacher, she is a healer, she is a connector and she free flows. She glides through the higher frequencies of the soul-star chakra, lifting us higher than the crown and taking us to heights we may not even be able to describe.
And...she will have you holding your breath in her presence. She embodies peace. She voices the purest expression. She is clarity.
Aaaaah, beautiful Celestine. The gentle Lady. If she were a woman in physical form she would be somewhat fragile and delicate in appearance. She might appear with an auric halo to those that can see past the veil. She would be somewhat shy. Her alluring beauty would mesmerise you and if you held her, you may never be able to let her go. She would wrap you up in a vibrational field that you would never want to leave. She would sing. She probably would wear light sandals, laced criss crossed high to the leg - or she might run barefoot. She would surely wear a dress of soft fabric that would whisp in the wind and she would be perfumed with the colour blue. She is the lover in the dreams of the poets.
Gentle feminine qualities and those of great beauty come through this stone. Celestite is honoured for its high frequency and powerful healing energies. It is THE perfect stone to help you connect to the Angelic Realms. I like to think of Celestite as a Reiki session in a crystal! She brings calm, harmony and balance and assists you in finding and maintaining inner peace. She is definitely a favoured stone for energy healers.
Celestite is a wonderful aid to connect to your higher truths and divine intuition. Use to help facilitate deep states of meditation and open psychic communication, as well as understanding and recalling your dreams. Physically she connects to the eyes, ears, nose, throat and the the upper chakras and specifically attunes towards the throat and the 8th chakra - accessing this through the crown chakra.
Celestite is said to have originated from the star system of the Pleiades and holds ancient cosmic wisdom and is a clear channel of access to this. Holding Angelic light she will lift you into communication with Spirit.
Face your Celestite to the sky, she is very fragile, so handle with extreme care. She can be recharged and cleansed by wrapping in a soft blue cloth or with a gentle full moon bathe. You can place her in a small bowl of tumbled hematite stones - or in the rays of the morning Sun - but not for too long or in harsh light as this can fade her colour. Celestite is a stone to place where you need a calm, soothing energy and many will find the bedroom the perfect place.
Take her into your life. She will bring a loving energy so remember to show her your gratitude for the gift of peace she brings to your world.

Welcome to the December 2017 post of our Peaceful Tarot series
The Star
This month I decided to mix up The Peaceful Tarot spread. I have owned the Golden Tarot deck for some time but have not used it a lot. Yet it is quite special, with digitally masterful collage taken from various Old Masters, artwork from the latter Middle Ages nodding at the traditional Tarot symbols morphed painstakingly, artfully and respectfully with Renaissance glory. Divinely finished with an illumination of gilded edges on the cards, it becomes a very gentle and mysterious deck with its regal formality. Quite a different vibe from the shamanic wonderfulness of The Wild Unknown, but seeming to me to be appropriate for this December’s Christmas lay.
So as The Star appeared in the spread, I smiled at the synchronicity. The star symbol has always been one I have aligned to and I use often in my life in various ways. Even my little Peace Practice icon is taken from the internal matrix of a quartz crystal star I owned. But this past week stars seem to be falling all over me and dropping into my field constantly. For example, a book someone gave me talking about the ancient Magi following what was described as a comet in this account, but referred to the bright Noel star announcing the birth of Christ. A conversation about starships, flowers shaped like stars, a piece of star jewellery, a star shaped crystal, me writing a crystalline star meditation for the heart chakra. I was starting to really tune in and notice how they were appearing so rapidly and now I draw this card, The Star. My intention however for this draw was not purposefully for me – it was my usual intent for a message around the perspective of bringing peace into the collective consciousness. Yet, I wondered for just a moment if this WAS my message – but as we are one, and you are I - and I am you - then this message is also for you. (And me!)
The Star.
Haloed by a comet and seven stars, with the merman at her feet, pouring from the cup of her soul and holding the cup of life our symbolic Star woman stands in her birth state, naked and comfortable, innocent and pure. Dogs of the shadow and light at her feet, as is the river of life flowing by, the little dog of faithfulness and the stork waiting behind, a bringer of news and rebirth. She slips not on the pebbles as her feet are solid on the shore and the mysteries of life and love float by as she bathes in starlight – her night illuminates to day.
So thus the shadows move, the darkness acknowledged. Many of us have been working with our own shadowy aspects. Our inner dogs have quarreled but now by seeing this aspect of self, we can also see the light. One cannot see good, if we do not first understand the opposite. Many of us are revealing our nakedness in our truths (some not always comfortable) and pouring out the lessons we are learning through our soul whilst working on balancing a slippery shore.
We take a breath in this card as shadow and light looks at each other – exhausted, yes – but quiet now. No snarling. Acceptance of being, and in that, it becomes neutral. We have had to also acknowledge that those truths of others also are the truths of ourselves and they are the mirrors with which to view our light. And so it is we look at each, from both sides, in the eye.
It is at such times, we give thanks that all this – light and dark, can be accepted as what is. Like the little dog here, showing us the way to unconditional love. We have come to see, to value the lessons, and we are grateful.
Mysterious forces have been at work in our lives and if at times it was not for our faithful resolve we might have dropped into the ocean called life and been swept away. But instead we heeded a call to ancient rites, the call to learning’s of old, the allure of magic, and we heard the siren of the bay. Again not always a comfortable place to sit. We have been tempted and torn. Intrigued and bewildered. We have learned so much and then by the same breath had to unlearn so much. We ended up as bare and naked as we were born. Then we worked out that by tuning into our sensitivities, by following our instinctive knowing, our intuition, we could tap into this ancient knowledge being downloaded and channeled our way and also to the crystal heart of Earth to rebirth it anew. A new message of the old. Or an old message made new. We can look around us, up and below at the light that has been shining and spotlighting a way forward, a beacon to follow. And follow we must, as there are great secrets to remember, behold, share and reveal.
As the cryptic drops away, our Star woman is peaceful, she is serene. In the same way we sense that stillness in ourselves when we ponder the starlight and the darkened heavens, we can find this stillness now within. Here. In your belly. It is settling around us regardless of what might float by. We can pour from all cups. Life is simply what happens when we are in physical form and we can participate, observe and be a part of it all, in peace and stillness, knowing that it is all an aspect of ourselves. When we find that state, this card speaks of the positive, of joy and peace – of hope.. In this place of being we can choose differently. We can choose to see and be on a different path. And we can do that together, as a collective. As one. A precious present and a gift to humankind.
This is a beautiful card to draw at the close of what seems to have been a challenging year for many. If you feel you have not achieved, look back, so much of this inner work of our individual self is changing the world. Going forward, life may well be just as challenging – or not – but however it may fall, be like the Magi and follow the signs. Be at peace, be at one with all. Be still.
I wish everyone a peaceful close to the year and a beautiful Christmas. I would also like to thank my family and friends for their help, knowledge and support this year as The Peace Practice was established. I am so grateful for you all.
Many blessings to you and yours. See you in 2018.

Welcome to the November 2017 post of our Peaceful Tarot series
Temperance
Aaaah, Temperance, it so happens in December 2016 Temperance was also drawn for The Peaceful Tarot.
Almost, not quite a year and she flies in again. Are we learning the same lesson? Let us see. You might first like to visit last year’s reading and revise her message at the time.
Temperance indicates the need to stay balanced and moderate in your approach to life, practicing tolerance and compassion in co-operation with all beings as well as giving and receiving, merging and harnessing excessiveness in both thought and actions.
There is a required patience embedded in the Temperance card. A combining of forces, of joining with others to achieve the vision you hold dear and close to your heart.
Today she talks to me also about the importance of integration. Just as the elegant heron is focussing on integrating the fluid movement of water into the raging burn of fire, all of us are integrating the many teachings, way showings and wonderments that have been given to us from every star, every movement of the moon, every planetary alignment and the many avenues opening to new awareness on our beloved Gaia. Heron is poised, carefully, calmly and is considering her movement and action carefully. Can such opposites meld? Can such separateness become a one?
It has been a bit of a full on year. Download after download, shift after shift, grids, portals closing, portals opening, solar flares, full moons, eclipses, gateways. Moving us, changing us with the intensity of high doses of adrenalin. And with the adrenalin come the highs – then the lows – then the flight and the fight. Then another breakthrough, and back to feeling like - we have ‘got this’! (If we were wearing hats you would have done yourself well if they still perch on your head.)
It has been quite a ride. Not all bad of course. Exhilarating. Exciting. Disconcerting at times, yes - but so is all change. We have learnt much about ourselves. Cleared a lot of stuff and thrown it to the cosmic winds. Layer after layer we dutifully peeled it all off. And just when we sit down to pat ourselves on the back some of it appears to be coming round again. So this is a little confusing. Did we not deal with it? Did we not neutralise it?
We did indeed. And did a good job on the most part. From our singular, individual level and perspective we are on track to embrace our new reality and step into a New Earth. But just for now we may need to further integrate, blend and settle.
Some of us are finding we are revisiting more of the same - that which we had thought we had singularly cleared. But, we are not to despair. We are just being given the opportunity to observe it differently - this time from a collective experience. A combined point of view. We saw it from our own singular self and now we can view it anew with our freshly opened wisdom from the grids, the full moon and the solar flares through the eyes of the collective consciousness. By such a different focus into the same situations we also do our bit in clearing and smoothing the collective karmic ties they hold.
We now are being moved to operate as One. I am you, you are me. I am the World, You are the World so we be the World. So how do we blend those opposites, those experiences, those circumstances, those lessons from that standpoint?
So stand and breathe, allow your singular experiences to blend and morph as if it was a collective one. How might we view it differently? How might we react now? What are we seeing for others? If something is happening to you, it is happening to me, to them and to the others that are part of the One. Think of the collective human consciousness being the body and you as your singular self, being a cell within. Single, yes, but connected - and so much a part of each other that you are one and the same.
So now, as the lesson(s) repeat, we tenderly have the chance to change once again – but this time, as a world. As One.
So just for this month, be like the great blue heron in Temperance, finding the harmony in opposing forces such as the water and fire. She stands firm, in her new way of healing by combining and integrating with a calm and peaceful focus.
Many blessings,
Elaine

Welcome to the October 2017 post of our Peaceful Tarot series
Traditionally The Hierophant represents the card of religious guidance. As many in the world begin to raise their spiritual vibrations you may find yourself yearning to learn more. Are you being called to a group, an institution, a community that will help you grow your spiritual wings? Are you being called to bring yourself to teachings and learnings outside of yourself? The Hierophant is a card that offers to connect the esoteric down to the earthly plane, guide you with order and structure, rituals and traditions.
As we ponder on The Wild Unknown Hierophant card we see the crow (raven) with the key. He calls a message shrilly. Because that is what Crow does. He brings something to consideration that might need to be looked at in more depth, he draws your attention to a subtle, or not so subtle dispatch that you may be well served to take note of. He teaches you more of what you know and more of what you do not know.
In Australian Aboriginal lore, Crow is regarded as an ancestral being, but also at times, something of a trickster. Many myths surround his cunning, intelligence, strength, power and mystery. Indeed in many other ancient cultures, the Crow is a distinctly important mythological symbol as he is associated typically with so much – and that which varies from good luck to bad luck and with everything from the creation of the world to the bringer of sunlight! The ancient Greeks will say Crow assists Apollo, the God of Prophecy. In the Appalachian Mountains if he calls in the morning before another bird sings, it will rain. In some places, two crows mean health, four mean wealth, and the Book of Genesis tells us that Noah sent Crow out from the ark after the great flood, to find land. Regardless of beliefs, what is certain is that Crow plays a strong role as a messenger of the divine.
So Crow can be many things. Depending on what you believe. So what do you believe? How do you know what you believe? Is your belief structured to how you grew up, what you were told? What your Mother, Father, Brother believes? What the teacher told you? Did you form your belief on an article in the news? Are you confused with what you believe? Do you swing between branches on your belief? Or do you just ‘know’ what you believe? What is the trick in working out what you believe?
When at times we feel we need guidance, we seek more education, more knowledge. We look to groups, different circles to widen our opinions, to learn more, to broaden our perspectives. The Hierophant is a card of spiritual knowledge and represents a gateway of knowledge and wisdom to higher consciousness through ordered sacred alliance. The Hierophant can be a transmitter of wisdom and spiritual matter when we crave for knowledge. This wisdom turns the key. To turn the key is to find the order and awareness required to really locate our inner spiritual being. So how do we do this?
In the Hierophant card, Crow sits on the key. A key connected to the divine spark from above. He calls shrilly as he firmly clutches the key. And the connection is charged between the key, through Crow, to the divine.
The Hierophant urges you to seek the knowledge from yourself and if guided or when you feel you have come as far as you can on your own, to seek out a teacher, an adviser, a confidante or mentor to bring you to a compassionate understanding of your own personal philosophy. That is the key. And that is the trick.
Your own personal belief.
To bring yourself to a total perspective of trust in what you feel, see, know, remember and believe rather than follow another’s dogma just because they believe it so faithfully or just because that is what you have been taught.
We all have a need to find the answers through study and discussion. We listen and learn through others points of view, from others eyes, through the ordered teaching of tradition and structure. There is nothing wrong with this. It is the way of the world. We learn by example. We learn by experience. But to truly find and sit with your own truth, you may need to seek out the mentor or teacher that can help you develop your own belief system, not one that requires you to adopt their own.
And of course, we can go within. The most important port of call in a storm. The Hierophant is a card that encourages you to seek wisdom outside and also the wisdom within. So with the order and foundation of the traditional teachings, with the wisdom of the new learning’s - go also on this journey inside. Unlock the mysteries and answers from the depths of your own being. Listen, learn, discuss, research – do what you will with the spiritual mentor(s) of your choice and then do what also needs to be done by acting at all times according to your own conscience. Listen and remember the internal messaging to self. And you will remember peace.
Many blessings,
Elaine
Welcome to the September 2017 post of our Peaceful Tarot series
August gone by was such a huge month. Big energies abounded, bounced some of us around and off the ground and span our pretty heads into - and sometimes past - the great cosmic mysteries.
And now sweet September. For us here in the Southern Hemisphere today is the first. And also the first day of Spring. The end of August teased us with tantalising displays of sunshine, we even stripped down to short sleeves and faced a little skin to the sun. Today is a little more subdued. Temperature perfect, rolling breezes travelling on gusts of fresh but not cold wind. Rain is in the air as I write but not here just yet. The azaleas in the garden are out in splendor. They obviously didn’t want to wait any longer. One day they weren’t and then they were! Perfectly beautiful. Nodding around in the wind, playing with each other, singing a song of perfection.
Traditionally spring clean time, which seems a little too much work! But I did do the crystals. Gave them a shift of energy – a cleanse, a burst of Reiki even – a re position, a new table for some and a re-grid for the month ahead.
The messages that resonated with me personally last month were that of prompting the internal work of visiting with our ‘shadow’ self. The side of us that the conscious does not necessarily acknowledge, aspects of our personality, which we do not openly identify with. The confronting bits!!! The teachings of remembrance were strong. To go inside, to remember who we truly are in our purest form. And - the teachings of integrating all parts of self to one.
So I intentionally ran the grid for the many messages that have come through in August from all the beautiful and brave Wayshowers in the world! I also intentionally pulled today's September tarot card to align and expand on those messages too.
I added rosemary to the grid. One of the oldest forms of incense, Rosemary is an ancient herb of many uses and traditionally linked to psychic connection and to activate the dormant memory. The element of Rosemary is fire and Rosemary aligns to the Sun. And of course the Azaleas. Azaleas message is steeped also in tradition and is capable of representing the shadows but also illuminates fragility and passion by echoing the essence of the divine feminine. Linked to the heart chakra and the numerological vibration of 7, I felt it perfect to add to the grid today.
And then I sprinkled it with some holy lavender given generously to me from a friend who had been gifted some from a lavender field said to be graced by Mary Magdelene – for purity and higher connection.
The base of the grid echoes the recent teachings of (one of my favourite) channels, Micheila Sheldon. Her recent messages have been imbued with the integration of our Over Soul, with the Higher Self and Soul. Acknowledging those aspects of us as individual crystalline ‘containers’ and then merging them together as One. One pure crystalline vessel accessed through our heart space from which to direct our experience of life. Her work with this in meditation style activations is so beautiful and sensitive and brings a profound shift of energy within.
So using here some of my most beautiful clear crystal quartz – I have taken a nod to these teachings and linked the grid to the Tarot for this month using the quartz to represent our crystalline centres - and my large and divine Quartz ‘mountain’ to represent the Over Soul.
But I got waylaid with my crystals! Not hard to do. So now to the Tarot for this month.
I use the reversal of cards to let them speak to me about internal workings, the subconscious if you will.
Traditionally the Four of Pentacles speaks in the positive of success and material gain but also of control, hanging onto power, greed even - and a rigid process of connection to the material. Reversed it can even speak of more stinginess and excessive worry and of not letting go of this mindset, being stifled in your personal development.
So how do we view this in relation to the collective for whom we read for here?
Activation is here so strongly in this card. The shape we are weaving appears in infinite harmony, fluid and all encompassing. Or are we bound? Are we binding others with our need to control? Are we tied so firmly to our rigid old ways we cannot loosen ourselves to be free? And are we clear what we are freeing ourselves from? Ourselves?
When we look at the web of life we spin around others and ourselves, in a sometimes seemingly vain attempt, to make sense of a complex world, we can ponder internally the questions to self. Are we expecting to control others and ourselves though our activations and actions? How might we best remain fluid and accepting of all?
Intertwining of energies in this card also speak from the directions of all four elements. The structure of life seems solid, the interlacing is working separately, yet together we bind (should we not offer to untie?) to each other as we weave our ribbons around our individual path and lay it out into the collective collaboration to cross a common central point. A point that is clear, precise. A centre space that is bright and illuminated, soft yet sharp.
All aspects of self are at play here. Through our work, through our practical foundations, we can interlace our spirits, our self, our consciousness, our entire selves and our entire societies together and this card to me speaks in volumes about maintaining integrity of spirit in everything we do. We stand as solid individuals and part of the whole collective interweb of life. This card is for each of us and for us as a whole. There is an opportunity here for great spiritual advancement if we can loosen our own bindings; our attachments, our need to influence and if we can do so, we can indeed flow with a new way to view our lives.
Last month the message was hasten slowly. Letting the ancient wisdom come through and doing the internal work. We have been integrating, working, waking up, seeing, testing, learning and watching. This month may well be the time to throw your thread of passion out into the world and weave your magic. So as you do so, just allow the ribbons loose. Let them fall away and take a gentle leap of faith in new vibrations, new ways. Trust yourself by giving yourself permission to weave your light into the peaceful flow. Let it all begin!
Many blessings,
Elaine
Welcome to the August 2017 post of our Peaceful Tarot series
In the winds of the new planetary energy in flies our Son of Swords. The young owl.
Young fresh energy in action. Old wisdom passed down to younger bones, poised to move and thereby becoming different wisdom. Is this old wisdom lost or wasted on the young moving too quickly? Maybe, or maybe simply new, fresh eyes see from different angles and it is time to get on with the looking.
Regardless, the vision is focused. Moving through the darker times with eyes that are honed. Eyes that can see through the obscure and the dark. Eyes that can even see the nocturnal sun. See something from the unconscious movement of life just recently left behind. Fiery action on the wing and with full determination now to bring the new in, to bring the new to fruition. It really is the time – except not. Not quite yet. There is still a little more work to be done. Something more is yearning yet to be peeled back, a titch and a touch of dark in the corners that has turned our action seeking owl upside down.
So this is all okay. We need to take a bit more time to push right deep into our kernels – our centre of being to take one more really good look at what resides there. We see by shining the light there. Once we look in the right places we can move forward.
Our new vision is young and we now have to assimilate into our beings, what this sight is showing us. We have to bring it in and live it, breathe it and pad our underbelly with it. In-sight. It will take a little time as the light dims occasionally and may even go off. So for the time being we remain poised, ready but still working within. Once we have the light steady, once the corners are lit, we will be ready to move. Not before. Take a breath. Let not your enthusiasm, or your impatience force the door to open. Find the key.
Action, energy, motion without being ready internally can cause regret. Yes we are anxious to move forward. Yes we feel it is time. Yes we feel we are running out of time. But hold the space. Go back inside and turn the light on one more time, or two, or three. What is it you need to see before you ride the sword of action forward? Deal with it first and hold those reins. The time will come soon enough. Step into your peaceful spot.
So also says the card that crosses our Son of Swords -
Father of Cups
Without invitation, out jumping from the deck is the Father of Cups. Dads are always in the background, are they not? They insist on being heard. Do they not say something very short, yet profound from the peaceful shadow space behind you?
Father of Cups says to Son of Swords – Hasten slowly my son. Feel your way. Time is just a concept and there is plenty of it.
Many blessings,
Elaine
